A site marker marks a CPAN site.
The areabox (on the left) shows names of countries and regions.
The sitebox (on the right) shows names of sites.
Multiple selections are allowed ; use Ctrl-click to select more than one.
Clicking an area marker on the map, or a name in the areabox, zooms the map
to the area ; a bounding box for the area is shown.
The sitebox displays the names of the sites in the area.
Clicking a site marker on the map, or a name in the sitebox, shows a
window with info about the site.
A second (Ctrl) click closes the window. Closing a window removes the
site from the sitebox selection.
In a site's window, the zoom in and fast buttons let you zoom in
on the site's location.
A right-click on the map marks a spot ;
the marker is draggable ; use it to find the (lat,lng) of a location.
A click on a spot marker toggles the visibility of the marker's info window.
A right-click on a spot marker removes the marker from the map.
The spot marker button creates a spot marker near the center of the map.

The map can be displayed in various sizes ; the initial size
is determined by the width of the browser window.
Button + increases the size of the map ;
button − decreases the size of the map.
Clicking the button marked unclutter map closes
all info windows, spot markers, and the bounding box, if present.
The map has a history of the areas you visited ; the button
marked < lets you go back in that history.
Button = refreshes the view on the current area.
Button > lets you go forward in the history.
Button ↑ (up-arrow) lets you go up
